my son has double coverage and I was not given any sort of good faith estimate until the day of the appointment. I was told my cost share was $78, which financially is no big deal because I have an HSA card, but I knew that my benefit for my insurance plan (which was secondary) only requires a $30 co-pay and they do coordinate benefits with the primary insurance. This office was asking for more than twice what I should’ve had to pay. On a sidenote, I’ve been billing and working denied claims for 20 years so I know insurance and how cobs work.. The receptionist admitted that she called CIGNA but I got contradictory answers when I asked her what Blue Cross Blue Shield said. She also invited me to call the insurance myself. I canceled both appointments. I called another office in Tyler and the lady I spoke to named C** was very nice. She told me how my claims would process for each plan upfront and scheduled us for three appointments starting next month. I only have to pay $30 for each appointment. My review has nothing to do with the provider . I knew the front desk was wrong and what I’ve learned as a biller is that a majority of doctors do not promptly correct billing errors, or refund patients when there are over-payments. Based on some of the other reviews about billing, I’m glad that I left when I did.

Services provided by Dr Ridenour were good. Front office staff is so unprofessional and rude. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Billing is incredibly shady. I paid for half of my bill at my first appt and knew the remaining balance then was told there was an addition $60+ added when I paid the remaining amount bc they "added units". I paid all of that despite being upset that there were surprise charges added on afterward that were not communicated. Then 2 months later I received another bill and when I contacted the office, they talked over me and were incredibly disrespectful and couldn't even provide me with information. Concerns are not handled appropriately. They do not treat their patients kindly. I'm not sure their billing practices are legal. I will not recommend Wellspring to anyone.

I called about testing, and the front office staff were very nice and professional! They were able to answer all my questions and help me get scheduling that worked for me.

Dr. Ridenour is knowledgable and helped me to understand what was happening with my son and we will be returning regularly. The evaluation and report were comprehensive and very helpful. I also did not feel like we were a number, I felt like he and the staff really cared about my family and took time to answer my questions and work with me financially.

There are no COVID-19 precautions in this office. Zero. I was in a pretty high state of shock when I walked in and no one had masks on and there was no hand sanitizer. Dr. Ridenour came out and put on a mask but when we got into his office he took off his mask and his assistant never had one to begin with. After all my precautions and I end up in a small office (a Doctor no less) who just doesn't care about patients health. Find a doctor who cares about your health.

Dr. Ridenour is a wonderful counselor. He is truly concerned about you as a patient, caring, kind hearted, and sincerely wants you to heal as a whole.

I always find smiling faces and a joyful greeting when I come in. I would recommend Dr. Ridenour to all who need his services.

If I could give less than one star I would. It have been 2 and a half months to get my mothers test results. I have called my mother has called she was being tested for dementia and memory loss. The office told her she wasnt remembering correctly. Now the office manager has yelled at me on the phone for no reason and refused to give me test results and threatened to call the police.
