She has been helping my children for several years now. She goes above and beyond to get as clear a picture as possible in order to outline a treatment plan. She has helped my son through some extremely terrifying times. Not only helping him, but helping me navigate through coping with all of it in order to help my child the most. She spent countless hours gaining his trust in order for him to open up. It is more like sitting down with a longtime friend or family member than a therapist. I recommend her regularly to people in need of a therapist, especially if it is for their children. As my children both love her like family.

To address the negative review about her Office Manager/Assistant...she has been wonderful all the years I've known her. She spent several years prior working in a prominent Pediatrician's Office. All 3 of my children have been using that Pediatrician since birth. (He has since retired). I have never had an issue in dealing with her. I do know rudeness and abusive behavior on the phone in either office has never been tolerated. As my ex and his wife were barred from contact with the Pediatrician. There is something definitely missing from the story as laid out in the comment below.

Wanted a local options so we transferred here from a doctor in Tyler. At our initial appointment she had not previously reviewed any of the extensive files or tests. Just filling out paperwork and asking why were were there. My child went for first solo visit. Wasn't a good fit for us as a family.

I have no problems with Dr Mitchell. Her assistant though, she is very rude. Refused to let me speak to Dr Mitchell. The lovely lady canceled our appointments. I will gladly be going somewhere else.

This doctor is the best I ever had she help my grand kids so much I wouldn't have any other she help me cope with everything going on with my kids I'm just so blessed to have her I love her so much n God bless her I can't live without her n our lives thank u Dr Mitchell
