Dr. Zbik’s approach was unlike anything I’d tried before. If you're looking for someone to simply listen, he might not be the doctor for you. But if you want results and a different approach to dealing with past or present trauma, he's worth a shot. It worked for me.

This doctor was recommended to me by a friend. We started our EMDR session and everything was going great, very relaxed, and doing well as the session progressed.

However, as we were getting toward the end, he said an extremely vulgar and disgusting “joke” to me referencing vibrators. Being that I was so relaxed, this caught me completely off guard and honestly I was in shock by what he said. And so much so, that I finished the last few minutes of the session and left.

I was so happy to finally have found the help that I have desperately been needing since my accident and this doctor ruined it for me. So now I’m back to square one. If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. I DO NOT recommend going to this practice.

I've never left a google review before in my life. But I just have to in the case of Dr. Zbik. In one visit of EMDR, he changed my life. No more nightmares, no more flashbacks, no more seizures. It sounds impossible, but it has truly been the most positive experience I've ever had with any doctor. He's kind, has a good sense of humor, and he's so knowledgeable about his craft. <3

Dr. Zbik made me feel whole and it was he who said you don't need to see me anymore unless something comes up. I was able to move on from and now am enjoying continued growth.

I can completely understand how other reviewers have given Dr. Zbik less than 5 stars – because they seem to be in search of talk therapy, which this is NOT. That is by design. Rather, his specialty lies in a form of EMDR, which helps patients process trauma and resolve it quickly and efficiently. I was in the depths of anxiety and despair when I saw Dr. Zbik for the first time, but I was also skeptical that in less than an hour I could resolve something that has plagued me for years. Imagine my surprise when it worked, and kept working for new phobias/anxieties in each session. I owe so much of my progress and newfound peace to him, and am so so thankful for his practice! Please do not let reviewers that were looking for a different form of therapy prevent you from reaching out and resolving your anxieties and trauma. He is a lifesaver.

Dr Zbik is a great therapist! I have seen him on and off over the past 8 years. I've sent well 2 dozen people directly or indirectly to see him.
I don't care if you live north or south of South Miami or even in a different county. He is worth the trip.
