Dr. Chavez is wonderful. His demeanor is calm and attentive. He seems very knowledgeable about the pharmaceuticals available, side effects, and their interactions. He explains why he is recommending a treatment and listens to your concerns. Dr. Chavez usually runs right on time as well. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to see him. The office itself is clean and well decorated. The staff do seem stretched thin at times, but I've never had a bad experience there.

I've never had a more horrible experience somewhere. Not only is the wait long, which I usually don't mind but the staff is unprofessional and rude. It takes forever to get an appointment. I had to cancel an appointment due to an emergency. And I'm not just saying that, this was an emergency dental procedure I had to undergo. This is a conversation with someone I had on the phone "Can I reschedule?" "Yeah but the next appointment is in 2 months" "Okay, well then can he refill my prescription until I see him because I will need it." "No, he needs to see you" "Okay, well if his next appointment isn't until two months...what am I supposed to do? Isn't it unhealthy to just stop taking the medication?" "Go to the emergency room." WHAT? Did you honestly just tell a patient to go to the emergency room? What is wrong with people? Her name started with an L. Lana or something. I complained and they did nothing. I've never had a more horrible experience. This place should not be treating people and they need to hire better staff in the front. Go somewhere else for your mental health or they'll make it worse.

My experience was exceptional with amount of compassion empathy and professionalism from DR Apple and receptionist Amy she really cares about people she works with you she listens and she super professional it has been such a delight.. to find people that truly care about others . I feel blessed to encounter such incredible professional that care, it starts with first phone call to set you mood and Amy was amazing ?

It's a big practice so that comes with positive and negative aspects. Overall, I am very happy with the office staff and I have found Lisa to be an incredible therapist. She is witty, open-minded and compassionate. Dr. Chativa is very knowable in his field and always very easy to talk to. I would prefer if Dr. Berlin would be more open to allowing the staff to use text messaging as a way of communication because who really makes and receives voice calls these days? Texting is my communication of preference. Just a suggestion!

The doctor is wonderful (Dr. Herrero) but my goodness, it's impossible to get them on the phone. Weeks ago, I'd call, would be put on hold and then disconnect (it happened 4 times that day). Today, I called both offices, used the voice prompt and then music started to play. 20 minutes later, no one picked up. I tried again, same thing. It's stressful to not be able to make or change an appointment for an established patient so I don't know why their office staff isn't able to take calls?

Really disappointed and feel that these Psychologists do not care for their patients. I have been calling the office for a month now left 2 voice messages for Dr. Raquel Herrero not ONCE did I receive a call back. Finally got a hold of front office where I explained my situation that I been trying to make an appointment have been ignored both times, then scheduled me with another psychiatrist to then call me back the next day to let me know he can not see me bec he’s going on vacation! You mean to tell me the front desk didn’t know this prior to making my appointment, so now I have to wait until the 26th! Very unprofessional!

Everyone (including the managers) have the sensitivity of a lawn mower. Good luck getting your meds refilled on time or speaking to an actual human being on the phone. Making appointments feels like pulling teeth and finding a thread of empathy in that office is next to impossible. I’m a sicker, less stable person since the day I started coming to this establishment. Having a mental health problem is hard enough without having to deal with these people.

NEW PATIENTS!!!! Go waaaaaaaay earlier than your appointment because the paid incompetence behind the front desk do not inform you at the time of scheduling that the doctor “needs more time with you”. In addition, inquire about doing the paper work online because they don’t inform you to do so either, but it’s more time efficient if you do. So overall, their lack of accomodation and willingness to see after driving 40 min out and missing class was what made me give them a one star, in addition to the lack of effort by the front desk staff. There is always a solution to a problem, people just create fog with their excuses so you can’t see the solution. The next available appointments are months out, so thank god im not dying. I probably won’t be going back!
