Dr. Colleen Daniel was very helpful in my quest for answers and a diagnosis. I felt seen and heard by her during all parts of the process. She took time to explain each step and was helpful in helping me find resources for next steps. I found that her office staff was helpful and the courtesy reminds were great. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to confirm and receive an Autism diagnosis later in life.

I am extremely disappointed with the office manager, Abby, and the handling of my sons’ appointment. First, it took her several days to get back to me after I initially reached out. When she finally did, she informed me there was a long wait, and the next available appointment would be in late August—even though I had contacted them in April. We waited months for this appointment, only to run into more issues.

Before scheduling, I verified with my insurance company that Colleen Daniel was listed as an in-network provider, which was essential for us. I also provided my insurance information at the time of booking. However, just five days before our August 30 appointment, Abby sent me a text stating that my insurance was out-of-network, and the cost would be between $2,000-$2,500. She asked if I wanted to cancel or pay out-of-pocket. When I brought up that I had already provided my insurance details, she told me I should have checked with my insurance company—something I had already done!

Why wasn’t this communicated when I first made the appointment in April? It’s unacceptable that I had to wait months for an appointment only to find out we were out-of-network just days before. Most offices verify insurance details before confirming appointments, and if Colleen Daniel is no longer in-network, it’s Abby’s responsibility as the office manager to ensure that information is updated with the insurance companies.

Now I have to scramble to find a new provider, which could have been avoided if this had been properly handled from the start. This level of mismanagement is frustrating and reflects poorly on your office.

This individual is extraordinarily rude and becomes aggressive upon requests for explications on procedures. She cannot explain the logical connectivity between her neuropsychological assessments and the pertinence it serves in autism detection. Her belligerence upon inquiry evidences her incompetence in diagnosing autism. Please avoid this provider.

Dr. Daniel and her team are warm, caring and very professional. My son sees Dr. Chestnut, via Zoom, who is supervised by Dr. Daniel. I was seeking help for his depression, anxiety, ADHD, and what we thought were some behavioral issues. After diagnostic testing (that we asked for), therapy, and medication review - we got some answers that have helped us tremendously. I feel like our entire family felt stuck, frustrated and hopeless. We now better understand the issues he is dealing with and life is moving forward in a very positive way for all of us.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Colleen Daniel for neuropsyche evaluation and the wait was pretty far out so I shopped around a lot. There is a wide range of testing available from a range of facilities for a range of prices and sacrifices. Some are done all online and still cost $1000+. Some don't work with insurance, which was a flag for my husband. And some seem like they do too few types of tests to learn anything of value. So after talking to many offices over many days I ended up back with Dr. Daniel, our therapist's recommendation, and her comprehensive, in-person, multifaceted evaluation. Sure it was a few months out but it must be worth it then right?

Afterall, by this point we'd seen so many mental health providers and heard a lot of interpretations and impressions, but very little metric-supported insight. I was ready for the real deal.

I am so glad we did. Dr. Daniel did a huge slate of tests, puzzles, questions, and point and select time-tested, data-supported evaluations. And she did it in 2 half days, which is nothing when you're getting info on a lifetime.

My daughter is tricky to work with. She doesn't like to be told what to do, and is hard to keep on task due to a slew of conditions. Staying likeable enough to keep her engaged and firm enough to keep the line without then becoming unlikable is not easy. I don't know how Dr. Daniel managed this but somehow she got all the tests done!

Perhaps most importantly of course is the insight we gained. All the findings were presented in ranges that were explained and broken down into incredible detail. The numbers were translated into real life expression and I was amazed how on point the data was with the behavior we see. The findings included recommendations that we could implement right away, along with longer term paths to explore and why.

The recommendations for school accommodations were extremely helpful. I was often asked by school what can be done to help and I frankly don't know those answers. But reading the suggestions by Dr. Daniel, I kept thinking YES that would help so much! And having a bulleted list to share with school then was awesome.

In healthcare we have to name the injured body part to have it examined. But what about when that body part is something complex and mysterious like the brain? You can do a million one-off tests and hope the findings are right. Or you can go to a knowledgeable expert who looks at it all.

Sorry for the length of this... I'm just grateful to finally have a reliable map for our challenging road ahead, thanks to Dr. Daniel.

Does not return phone calls or messages. Have been trying to reach them for over two weeks.

If you need help, you won't be able to reach anyone here.

Maybe office is closed. Who knows? I would give them no stars if I could.

She is extremely unethical and immature in her communication. I would also give zero stars if I could go.
