My cousin went there for some behavior problems. It started out with the police being called and they decided it would be good to take him to Lutheran bc they were told he could get diagnosed and they had really good psychiatrists. So when he got there he said there was just a bed that looked like a gernie. It didn't even have a TV or anything. He was of course upset already as it was. I mean you try being in a psych ward and be a happy camper. Then he said this head nurse "Julie" came in with an attitude and started shaming him for his behavior problems and started telling him she was gonna make sure on her life that he wouldn't have any rights (not even to use the f..king toilet or have anything to eat as long as he was under her care. How disgusting is that? Anyway then his mom came and Julie was telling her in front of him to sign him over to JCHM. Once his mom left he told Julie how awful it was to say something like that and not provide any real help. He asked this one male nurse if he could at least have a sandwich and the nurse was telling him awful stuff and then my cousin called him a c.nt and there they came with the restraints. Just for saying c.nt! He said the guards and nurse tied him to the bed and they did it really tight around his neck. Out of self-defense, he did spit on one of the nurses one time but he was scared so I don't blame him there. Still doesn't make it right. But I get it. Anyway, during the time they were tying him up, they bruised his arms from his shoulders all the way to his elbows. On both arms! Then they gave him an IV with this medication and they didn't just put it on his arm normally. They shoved it on his arm! They didn't know how much to give him. He got sedated. Before he passed the male nurse had said "god no wonder no one wants you!" His mom was trying to call them and they were telling her lies, saying rude awful things, and hanging up on her! She came down there and woke him up and took him home the next day. Then he got sent back there again and the minute he got there they sedated him again with that same medication. It was the same guy nurse. The sedative had made him very sick and it was supposed to be on his charts not to give him that medicine again. It makes his legs shake out of control and makes him very nauseous. It was disgusting! I want that department shut down and all of those nurses to be in big trouble.

Best ER in the area. Other reviews seems to be out of anger. When you're in the ER, there are many people and the staff needs to use their judgment who should come first. Great staff!

Don't come here if you actually want to be seen... They will take people that come after you that aren't as bad as you before you. My son and I have been waiting for a very long time. He is hurting so bad he is in tears and they keep taking other people, but we are in the fast track Lane.. The staff is horrible and rude. They don't care about you or yours.

I was in there 4 times last year. All the doctors and nurses are kind and caring. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
